[Support request] Is it required to allow plants to establish before turning on the system?

    Hi Josh. I grew my plants from seed in coco substrate and intend on using the same coco substrate for my AutoPots (mixed in with clay balls). Since I am intending on using the same substrate, is it necessary for my plants to establish in the AutoPots before using the AutoPot irrigation? What if I transplant the plants along with their initial substrate into the Autopots? Could the establishment period be shortened to 4-5 days instead?

    Hi Anna,

    Once plants are potted up into their final pots, generally we advise to water through with 1/2 strength feed and the correct pH for coco, let the plants establish before you turn the system on. Also have a read through the catalogue on any official AutoPot site, also if you use Facebook pop onto “AutoPot Users Group” as the members there are very helpful.
