‘Would you be so kind as to answer a question regarding the water feed to six, fifteen litre auto pots using 6mm rubber tubing. If the trays were laid out so that they were in two separate parallel rows of three , with say a 150mm gap between the rows for the central feed pipe and the ends of the trays in both rows were butted up to each other. ( this configuration would mean the outlet slots in the trays would not be opposite each other). Would the system work correctly if the tubing was to be connected in either of the two following ways, and if so which would be the best. (a) Use six “ T “ piece connectors coming off the control feed tube, each “T” piece positioned opposite each tray outlet and connect to valves using six shot lengths of tubing all approx the same length. Or (b) Use three cross connectors again coming off the central feed tube, the position of the cross connectors would be approx midway between the tray outlet slots, and connect to valves with six short but varied lengths of tubing. I hope this makes sense. Thanks for your help, Andrew.’
