    Hi, The system will still function but you will need to possibly keep an eye out for roots leaving the pots, these can be cut off and discarded. Moving forward the best option when using the root control protection is as follows.

    Root Control in the pot gold face down and a pot sock on the outside of the pot, this will 100% stop all roots from leaving the pot.

    Hi, No matter which way the tray are positioned as long as you have adequate amount of pipe reaching the AQUAvalve in each tray you can have them however you like.

    Hi Nicky… they can be used with any pot there is no restriction just make sure you use an open blend of substrates….. take a look at the catalogue and brochure on the homepage…. there is loads of information there….

    Hi …… the salt build up occurs in the top 1-2cm of the pot so there is no effective salt build up that will affect the roots…… you should also never pour solution into the pot or you will wash the salts into the root zone…. this should only be carried out in emergencies if you have a lock out issue….

    Hi Jessica and family……

    Personally I would clean it all up including flushing the pipes and pack away…. the cold will not crack the pots…… glad it all works well for you. keep growing and telling people too.

    Hi look at the arrow on the tap….. if it is inline with the pipe its on ….. have a play you’ll figure it out.

    There are loads of options….. take a look at the brochure and catalogue on the home page…… for 100% no root escape root control disc in the pot gold face down and pot sock on the outside bottom of the pot.

    Hi Tom,

    You can choose either 3mm or 5mm AQUAvalves…… the systems are available with either just make sure you make it known when you order…… generally all AutoPot products are now supplied with the AQUAvalve 5.

    Hi ….. yes that will be fine…. but don’t use too small pot in the tray 10ltr and above is fine……. if smaller pots are to be used you will need to sit them on the cocomat as shown in the website…
