    Hi Grow Girl,

The grommet will be fine, the hole in the reservoir maybe an issue, please contact your supplier and let them know so that it can be replaced. Please ensure you have inserted in in the hole properly and the pipe is pushed several inches inside the reservoir

    Hi Paul,

You should never use an airstone in the reservoir as it will increase the pH of the water, only ever use a small water pump to move the water around, sediment is natural and come from the nutrients.

Any fabric pot that fits snuggly in the try will be fine….. you will however need to use the root control sock on the bottom outside of the pot to stop the roots escaping…..

Hi, Take a look at the potting up guide on the home page and also the AirDome instructions, it’s all there….. In basic terms only turn on the pump to the AirDomes when the plants have nicely established….. 14-21 days

Hi Nicky, The fabric pots have with experiments to date proven to grow the plants more quickly compared to plastic pots. I would just use the 50/50 mix you are already using…… the use of the AirDomes is not necessary but needles to say people do still use them.

Hi There…. I have had problems with San Marzano all year with blossom end root. There are many issues that cause blossom end rot they are as follows:

    High and low temperature changes
    High and low humidity changes
    Under and over watering

These are just a few ….. in an ideal world if the temperature was constantly at 25oc and the humidity 70-75% all the time I would suspect all would be OK.

Hi Curtis, just re-fill the reservoir when there is a 1/3 of the water left, that’s it…… please note that if using soil that the pH in the reservoir should be 5.8.

Hi There… pop over to the AutoPot Watering Systems FB page as there are lots of videos there also on the home page of the website is the brochure and potting up guides. Never pour additional feeds through the top always in the tray next to the AQUAvalve not on it….. but turn the system off 12 hours before fill trays …. leave for 30 mins and repeat. If you need to speak in more detail please feel free to call the office on the number on the website.

As long as the reservoir is higher than the highest pot all will be fine…… gravity always goes down never up

Hi There…… Firstly if you have an air stone in your reservoir remove it as this will increase the pH….. another option is to use a small water pump on every 2 hours for 15 mins.but neither are necessary…. If using RO water ensure 5% of the volume is tap water….. pH with you substrate in the reservoir should be 5.5-5.6…. set a little lower with the tank off and it will naturally rise to 5.5-5.6 over 24hours…… there could be many issues to what you are facing such as the complete use of the nutrient schedule/elements you are using. If you need to call the office please do so on the number on the website
