July 26, 2019 at 11:57 am #212JoshKeymasterDear Rimat2,
Due to the way that AutoPot functions all types of plants can be grown in the different size pots, quite often we will grow tomatoes and other vine crops in 8.5 ltr pots with great success. If you would like to discus further please feel free to call me on my mobile 07973139649.
Regards
Jason

July 26, 2019 at 10:43 am #210JoshKeymasterIf it’s an organic liquid feed and only lasts for this period of time then it would not be suitable but can be added into the tray by turning off the reservoir….. following day pour in tray leave for 30 mins then top up tray ….. following day turn reservoir tap back on…. repeat every 5-7 days
In reply to: Can I use Canna nutrients and what silicone do you advise to use?
July 25, 2019 at 3:30 am #208JoshKeymasterDO not over complicate the recipe of fertilisers you use .. keep it simple …… Canna is fine but CANNA boost will need to be poured in the tray
In reply to: Is 2 inch of pebles from the bottom OK?
July 25, 2019 at 3:28 am #205JoshKeymasterIf this method is working well for you I would not change too much, have you tried to place an AirDome in the base of the pot and cover (just with pH stable clay pebbles and then place your 6” Grodan rock wool block on top of the bed of pebbles….. pH in res should be around 5.8…..

May 20, 2019 at 1:35 pm #171JoshKeymasterHi Gary,
It sounds like the pipes maybe filled with sediment, so you will need to flush the pipes, bend the pipes and blow through hot water to get rid of any sludge.
Many thanks, Josh
JoshKeymasterWheat grass can be grown directly on the matting covered with the root control sheet, the seeds need to be soaked in a weak solution of bleach for 24 hours, prior to placing on the sheet.
Thanks Josh.

May 8, 2019 at 1:01 pm #163JoshKeymasterHi Antoine,
Thanks for your email, not advisable as too much excess water. Grow the plant on elsewhere then when 8-12 inches put in the 15L smartpot.
Many Thanks, Josh
JoshKeymasterHi Ian,
We would suggest changing every two years to get the maximum out of your system.
Many thanks, Josh

April 24, 2019 at 11:55 am #144JoshKeymasterHello,
Yes this is fine. The easiest way to clean the tank would be to remove the poles, turn it inside out and scrub it.
Thanks Josh
