In reply to: AutoPot water leak -100L on the floor
May 20, 2022 at 4:26 pm #1066JoshKeymasterHi I believe you are in the US and are being looked after…. I would however note that if a reservoir is water tight from the start, human intervention is generally the cause of the leak…. I would suggest that you look at the surface you have placed it on to see if this is the problem
In reply to: Possibility of a Drip Irrigation System with AutoPot
May 20, 2022 at 3:22 pm #1063JoshKeymasterHi Anna,
As there AutoPot system is bottom fed it would not be a good idea to mix up the two methods, if you utilise each method independently and not at the same time you’ll be fine
In reply to: Question about rain
May 13, 2022 at 10:32 am #1056JoshKeymasterHi There,
If using outside there is nothing you can do but in the last 20 years of AutoPot no one has had any issues with rain falling on the pots as far as we are aware. If it rains a lot turn of the tap to the reservoir and then back on once the water in the tray is almost empty

In reply to: A question of timing
May 9, 2022 at 9:30 pm #1053JoshKeymasterHi Dale,
Fertiliser does not have a shelf life of one week, who told you that???..Just fill the tank with the correct quantities of fertiliser and don’t worry…. read the catalogue and brochure to understand things further, they will both help immensely… they can be viewed on the website

In reply to: Saving water and nutrients ?
May 9, 2022 at 6:04 pm #1049JoshKeymasterHi Dale…. quite simple… if you have markings on your reservoir, check these before you add any further solution. Or alternatively get a bucket (10ltrs) will be fine …. mark it ….. fill the bucket with water …. add fertiliser…. and repeat….. or buy yourself a pH pen and EC truncheon
JoshKeymasterHi There….. there is no need to do this, the copper is still there it has not degraded it has just oxidised, they will still work fine. Just wash with warm soapy water and rinse off and your good to go again….. Im still using the same ones after 5 years of constant use.
In reply to: how to rinse coco coir on autopot ?
April 19, 2022 at 1:52 pm #1033JoshKeymasterHi Alex….. I can only suggest you are using poor quality coco or the environmental conditions are your growing area prefer from correct and the Ec value is rising as the plants can not take up the water… If you would like to call the office and ask for Jason he will be able to help you better with more information the job will be easier
In reply to: Spyder / Flexitank upgrade
April 19, 2022 at 1:50 pm #1031JoshKeymasterHi …. You would need to drill the hole on the side of the AQUAbox to 12mm from 10mm… I would suggest using a step drill not a standard drill or you may tear the hole…. you’ll need a 9mm top hat grommet, an AQUAvalve5 and 9mm pipe…. also depending on the connection to the reservoir you will also need to drill the tanks per the AQUAbox or upgrade the filter from 16mm-6mm to 16mm-9mm…. it really depends on how your pipe is connected to the reservoir. If you are still not sure please call the office and they will guide you through exactly what you require

March 31, 2022 at 1:16 pm #1015JoshKeymasterHi There….. if you have pH down I would suggest fully submerging the coco mat in 5.0 pH water for 24-48 hours tip of solution and then pour in new solution with the required amount of feed
